ASIC fines for late payments

We can not stress enough how important it is to pay your Annual ASIC Fee on time! If you are just one day over the set deadline you will automatically receive a late payment fine, currently the initial fine is $70.00, if you fail to pay this, then you receive another substantial fine - $222.00! Last week, a couple of our clients received these fines, and we never enjoy passing them along.

GGA TIP:  If you have trouble remembering your payment date, our tip is when you receive your Annual ASIC Statement, go to your online banking and enter the payment in so the payment will automatically occur on the date you enter (the due date).

If you don’t have online banking set-up, talk to your bank and arrange to set it up. It is very easy and can really help you manage your bill payments.
